Parash Foundation,
Guwahati, India is a Registered Society in the field of microfinance and
is registered under Society’s
Registration Act XXI of 1860. Founded in
2008 it is run and managed by a group of dedicated social workers. The
President of the foundation Mr. Parash Phukan is a young, dynamic social
worker with adequate experience in the field of finance. For several
years he was associated with private sector banks and was looking after
sales, Personal loan, Home loan, Car loan etc. The registered office of
the foundation is presently located at Bhangagarh, Guwahati. With the
primary objective to help and offer financial assistance to potential
micro-entrepreneurs by way of microfinance, the foundation is dedicated
to help and uplift micro-entrepreneurs in North East India; Parash
Foundation is providing financial assistance to micro-entrepreneurs and
is engaged in various socio-economic development activities. Started in
July 2008 with a contributed capital of Rs.1.00 Lakh only, since its
inception, the capital has grown to Rs. 10.39 lakhs only and the
number of beneficiaries has grown to 134The
objectives of Parash Foundation are 1. Upliftment of
economic condition of the poor by way of microfinance
2. To promote activites for educational and socio-economic development
with special focus on woman and cultivators
3. Rehabilitation of street children
4. To provide nutrition, health services, safe drinking water, better
sanitation to the poor
5. Education to the poor
6. To provide shelter to old citizen.
7. To provide financial assistance to distressed members of the society.
8. To safeguard our heritage.
