| I worked for several years
with private sector banks and was looking after sales. I was dealing
with unsecured loan for some of the wealthy clients .I observed that
these people get loan quite easily from financial institutions because
of their profile, strong background, high business standards and good
income. Gradually I became concerned about the large number of poor
common people, who are sincerely struggling very hard against all odds
for a decent living. These are the real needy people who need help. But
for various reasons they are unable to get any help from commercial
financial institutions. A strong desire and a great dream to transform
them into a generation of successful and happy citizens inspired me to
do something. I do believe that only the microfinance under solidarity
group model structure and concept of SHG is the best solution for rapid
economic development of larger section of the society in a developing
country like our country. My focus is the social segment of married
woman and widows. Our organization wishes to change their lifestyle, to
make them confident, to help them to be successful micro entrepreneurs
and to change the economy. We are doing it and will continue.
